video A Donkey You Say?

Everything happens for a reason, they say.

Who’s they? I’m not really sure, but I’m starting to believe it’s true.

A perfect example is the following video at the bottom.

Once again, it’s about an animal rescue but it wasn’t intentional and it’s not about a dog or cat.

It’s about a donkey.

But back to that phrase…

Eldad Hagar, the man who started Hope For Paws, was in Israel and happened to make a wrong turn when driving. He ended up in the backroads and noticed a distressed donkey on the side of the road.

The donkey’s two front legs were tied together with rope and they were tied so tight they cut through his tendons.

The donkey, who was later named Eldad, was obviously in pain and appeared to be confused as to why he was left stranded on the side of the road.

Eldad the person, being the great guy that he is, decided to call Pegasus to help him out.

Pegasus ended up taking Eldad the donkey to their land where all of the other animals they have rescued were. Eldad the donkey quickly felt at home.

He was examined by a veterinarian and treated for his wounds.

The video ended with him happily munching on green grass. 🙂

If Eldad the human didn’t make a mistake and miss his turn he never would’ve found the poor donkey.

In this post, I mentioned how I couldn’t stop watching Hope For Paw’s rescue videos. They’re heartbreaking but uplifting at the same time and in my case, addicting. I love to see that these helpless animals were found, rescued, and revived, so to speak. It makes me extremely happy that there are people like Eldad and organizations like Hope For Paws out there that care so much about animals and treat them with the utmost respect.

It gives me a little bit of hope for this world.

  1. Thank you for sharing this video. It is sad that there is animal abuse all over the world. I am glad that poor Eldad the donkey was rescued.

What'd ya think?
